Crosby is pleased to announce the 2019 Rigging for the Troops campaign with a goal of raising $25,000 to support the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation.
Fallen Patriots provides college scholarships and educational counseling to military children who have lost a parent in the line of duty. After government programs, the average shortfall in college funding for a child of a veteran that was killed or wounded in service is $25,000. Crosby will donate a portion of each US clip sale from April 1 through June 30 to this honorable cause.
Approximately 20,000 children have lost an active duty parent in the military over the last 35 years. Of those, 97% of casualties are men, leaving behind single mothers to care for their families with 60% reporting having trouble making ends meet. Every time a worker in the oil & gas, construction, and manufacturing industries across the US use a Crosby clip they can know they are doing a small part to help secure a better future for children of veterans who were killed or wounded protecting our freedom.
To raise awareness, Crosby will conduct a photo contest whereby end users can submit an image of an application featuring a Crosby clip and potentially be named as one of two weekly winners. Winners will be recognized on Crosby’s social media channels.
End users can submit photos and read the latest campaign information on the new landing page, riggingforthetroops.com.
